I am referring to any cold start, summer or winter. My fluid level is nominal. Here's how it goes: I start the car in the garage and immediately after backing out I have to make a sharp left turn so, while still moving, I attempt to crank the steering wheel and it fights with me. Revving the engine only seems to help slightly, if at all. Once the car is warmed up, it acts fairly normally. My first car, a '64 Rambler purchased in '71, used to do this. It doesn't seem reasonable for a 2009 car to be doing it...and as I think back on it, it really has done it since it was new. Obviously, I'll mention it to a dealer before it falls out of warranty late in this coming spring. I was just wondering if it has happened to anyone else. And, by the way, my RSAs seem to "flat spot" after any extended park, whether it's hot or cold out.
