Two young guys were killed in Tulsa, OK, when they crashed a Hellcat into a turnpike concrete overpass support. The Challenger was TOTALLY demolished.

707 hp is too much temptation and is way too fast for the street.

Wow. I'm taking your word for it that we're looking at what used to be a Hellcat.

    That much power deserves respect

Holy crap! Doesn't even look like a car. Poor kids. Any info if they were drunk or just joy riding?

Don't know. Here is all that was reported by Channel 6:

"Oklahoma Highway Patrol states Rick Shannon Crenshaw, 29, and 24-year-old Korey T. Stark were pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers aren't sure which man was driving the 2016 Dodge Challenger.

The car is now unrecognizable. Troopers said there weren't any witnesses to the crash, but someone called in after seeing the wreckage.

Troopers said Crenshaw, a Glenpool resident, and Stark of Crane, Missouri, were thrown from the car after it left the roadway and hit the barrier wall at a high rate of speed.

OHP is still investigating the fatal crash. Its cause is unsafe speed."

They must have been flying down the road when that happened.

This is unbelievable, but another Hellcat crashed. This time in IL. No fatalities this time. When will owners learn to respect the power of these cars and not drive like idiots?

How in the world did the driver survive that? Glad he did, but man that this is destroyed.

These really are well-built cars. Some of that bulk that we all complain about is in safety features.

From that crash, you can tell. It even looks like the engine is still in tacked. :)
