My brother told me about this product right after I got the car. He uses it on his Harleys.

Which product are you referring to; Protect-All? Please advise as to a paint coating product, wax or otherwise, that is ok for stripes and paint alike; if any. Just purchased a 2013 R/T and want to make sure I don't mess anything up.

    Waxing vinyl stripe

True with those waxes which are NOT Synthetic. Synthetic waxes have no petroleum based products and are man made. Synthetics also do not build up as petroleum based waxes. I have used Turtle wax ice products since they came out and all my vehicles look like new even my everyday driver. During the harsh winter weather I apply CLING NU Finish every couple of weeks. My daughter has a 392 Challenger with a silver stripe and a 3m invisible bra. 3m specifies the 8mm clear bra should not be waxed except with synthetic waxes which will not yellow the plastic material and are ok. You wrote a great article.

Ive been using Zaino products for ten years or so and they have told me that their products will work on any part of your vehicle. Painted, plastics, stripes, windows, wheels and even tires. They do have special products for some things but overall the polishes they sell will not harm vinyl stripes. Check them out. Here. Zainobros.com. I love their stuff. My 05 ram looks as good as new to this day!

who makes the stipe & graphics for the shaker challengers ? the shop did a fast detail and spray waxed it I think to detail it after I got if of the showroom floor. I want to protect the black graphics any recommendations for a wax & or stripe graphic product or wax I should be looking for in my local parts store ? I am pretty sure the detail guys used a fast spray wax as the job was done in 30 minutes, wahed and spray waxed right over the graphics I am sure but they are still black.
