Does anyone know how to remove the factory shifter knob for a manual transmission, on a 2016 Dodge Challenger?
First off ignore all the videos that have you tearing the console apart. Carefully push down the leather boot over the notch on the shaft and over the jam nut. Put a 17MM wrench on the shifter. Put a 19MM wrench on the jam nut and loosen. When done replacing the knob carefully pull the boot back up over the jam nut into the notch on the shaft.
