I just got my first challenger about two weeks ago. Its a 2013 challenger R/T 6 speed. this morning when i was rolling into the dash in i took it out of gear to coast into the parking spot. I heard this thumping/ popping sound. It is a consistant noise that has nothing to do with rpms but rather just rolling speed. It does in in forward gears, neutral, and does not do it in reverse. Regardless of clutch engagement/ pedal position.
    Please help.

Update. Ring and pinion was shot. Had about two inches of differential play before wheel movement. Local dealer replaced under warranty

Yup and it's back at the dealer I snapped the axle shaft on the driver side. And they "discovered the front sway bar bushings were no longer in the housings. So their fixing that. And all under warranty

Sounds like you drive it like it should be driven.

I'm scared to push it hard. Stuff keeps breaking during "normal " driving

I would drive it reasonably hard while it is still under warranty just to see what else might happen and still have it repaired at no cost to you.
