Although the interiors are very roomy and comfy, I find all the dark gray boring.
    Needs a little PIZZAZ!

So, as a first step, I have always died the seat stitching on my Challengers, including the arm rests on the doors.
I simply use the 20 or so colored art pens, available at Wally's World (Walmart), in the art section.
They are a latex paint so, fairly forgiving.
All you need to do is pre-wet the small area you are working on, keep the small areas wet, apply generously, count to 15, and wipe off before it dries on the leather.
The cotton stitching will always absorb the paint much more quickly that leather that is wet.

    Looks great.

By the way, the interior of the Challenger was meant to be dark, sinister and aggressive to resemble the 1970 model. Check out this designer interview (1:35 mark):

This time - rather than ordering custom floor mats to match body color, I customized the existing mats.
With on 26K, the mats were in really good shape.
I painted the lettering the same way I did the seat stitching.
And, I had a local carpet shop bind the edges to match.

I got the red and black interior on my 2018 Challenger. Burgundy floor mats and a dark red dash mat. Looks much nicer on the inside instead of all black.

all 2009 challengers came with black interiors, some had the gray insert. so I changed mine to white Katskins trimmed with blue piping. definitely changed the character of the car.[IMG]

Yea, while I had the center console out
I found a box and switch with 4 strip LED light.

The original designers chose a dark interior to convey a no nonsense business look. Watch the following video clip.
