Does anyone know if the 2015 tail lights are swappable on a pre 2015 car? Love the new taillight assembly and may end up with a 2011/12 at some point but would be sweet to be able to change these out.

One of my friends here tried the conversion, unfortunately it is not feasible as you need to change the rear fascia as well, which makes it quite costly. The lights themselves fit okay it was a gap on the ends that was the issue. So he told me as I did not see it in person.

I have a 2014 with the 2015 rear tail piece. Only 1 issue, since they are LEDs which causes them to flash a little too fast. I have not attempted to correct this yet but suspect it will require adding some kind of resistor or wiring in a regular bulb somewhere in the circuit to bring the circuit load correct. If anyone else has been through this let me know.

I installed some 6ohm 50 watt resistors on the rear turn signal circuits, now they flash at normal speed for about 5 seconds and then reverts back to rapid flash. Hummph!
