Wanted to post up some pictures of the recent Blastin Bob's Resonator Delete install. Went with the 5015 kit for our 2016 R/T because they were on sale, and I wanted the louder sound from this car.

Started with some quick pictures of the factory 6-speed mufflers and resonators:

Lay out the pipes from Blastin Bob's and make sure they follow the same routing before doing anything!

The directions included with the kit just said remove the clamps and save for re-use with their pipes. However, the clamps are welded on from the factory:

A video of YouTube installing a similar kit on a SRT 392 car showed him cutting those while still on the car with an air powered cut off tool. However, my angle grinder with a cut off wheel could not fit between the resonator and tip, so I had to do this step after removing the resonators and off the car.

So, first thing, loosened and removed two of the exhaust hangers via the mounting bolts:

    Installing the Blastin Bob's pipes:

It was much easier to cut the clamps and remove the tips off of the car for me. Removing the hangers was not fun, won't lie. Used every bit of strength I could muster in the 40 degree weather to pull them off and install on the new setup. But everything bolted right up:

Some video clips for anyone wondering what these sound like:

And anyone wondering why the dash piece is missing, that will be another thread - doing a pretty extensive audio upgrade :):):)

You have the white challenger with black stripes as well? I was looking at the same mod can you upload a normal start up sound?
