Thought I would post this if anyone is considering a OEM Shaker kit for the 2011-15 RTs. I went this route and glad to share pricing and other details.

One word, "sexy". These new engines are so balanced that the shake is less than the original cars. I would do it all over again and now is covered under my warranty since I had the dealer do the conversion at delivery. I've learned a little on price cutting after this and glad to share. I had a SRT8 owner come up to me yesterday and ask what a shaker was, lol.

What was done in the conversion? How long did they have it? The dealership did it for you? Wow..

Factory hood and air box taken off. Hood was painted to match since it's in e coat. They installed shaker and hood. Two days and they lent me a used car. It was easier to work with the dealer, I also used 10% coupons on Black Friday for both kits. Hood and shaker are separate parts. Ordered shaker decals through ridergraphix since they had a 10% off before xmas.

I'm guessing a little bit, but it's just a big piece of nostalgic eye candy. Our club is doing a dyno night next month so I'll find out.

Here's a seldom known fact. You could win a bar bet with this. In 1970-1971, the abbreviation for the shaker was:

    i.e.q.c.a.g

It stood for Incredible Exposed Quivering Cold Air Grabber.

The reason that I know this is that I had a shaker on my 1971 340 'Cuda.
