Why didn't you have a choice on colors? If you wanted B5, I would have thought they could get it for you.

    well... 'the story is:'

We first saw the B5 color on display at the Woodward Dream Cruise, I believe in 05 or 06 on a SuperBee Charger SRT8. Loved it. Came back home and made the comment to my local dealer (who didn't really know me yet) that if he had one of those it probably wouldn't last long on the lot. Well... he didn't order one... so we ended up trading our Top Banana Daytona for a 300C SRT8, which we loved and drove enthusiastically for several years. We liked the Challenger body, and when one showed up locally in B5 we got it... and it didn't take long to miss the power of the SRT. So we swapped that one for the GWE. Fine with it now... just sayin'... IF I'd have had the option of a B5 SRT I'm sure we'd have not been inclined to swap it for a GWE.

    :)

let me know by PM if you want his info... I mean it.. seriously... he does GOOD work.
And we've been very good friends for several years.

You know, I am not a huge fan of the green painted cars, but to be honest, it fits the chally. So I do like on yours.

Yes, its a 1997 4.6 Thunderbird LX. I bought it for $15,500 used with only 10,500 miles on it. It now has 92,400 miles and still runs great. I bought it at that time because I wanted something sporty (American-made) and there was really nothing available except a Mustang. The only mods to it are a performance chip (Superchips), and a K & N filter with a modified air intake.

It now gets me back and forth to the train station to go to work, and also carts my son to soccer practices and games with his muddy cleats.
