After driving the car for a few days now, I must say, WOW what a difference. I think it is everything together, new transmission, Hurst linkage (with G & K - Larry's Mods), Hankook tires, almost like a different car. The shifting is night and day. It is such a close ratio now, it's almost like shifting an automatic. Before, especially at high RPM's, you threw it at 3rd and 4th, kind of hoping it was the right gear. No more, you now know you will not miss a shift again. If you can spare 400 bucks, get a Hurst linkage. You can install it from inside the car in about an hour. Well worth it! A couple of shots of the Hurst and the stock linkage.
