    Hi everyone,

today we decided to choose the best way to improve the performance of a 3.6L V6 Challenger to make it closer to the big brother V8 and keep the gas mileage low!

Max power or max economy on demand whenever you need it!

And our first step is the air intake of course.

Let's compare manufacturer's performance improvement claims and DYNO results that we received from K&N, CGS and AIRAID.

    3.6L V6 Dodge Challenger

    1. CGS® - Air Intake System

+8 HP gain (Torques not specified)

    * They also have a more powerful intake K&N® - 63 Series Aircharger Intake Kit that produces 8.09 HP extra at 5231 RPM.

    3. AIRAID® - Cold Air Dam Intake System

    + 10 HP and 14 TQ

As we see the best results are shown by the AIRAID air intake. It provides a solid performance improvement from the lowest RPMs. K&N aircharger intake kit is very close to it in the power increase, plus it has a mild sound.
3rd Place belongs to CGS air intake system with their 8 HP gain.

Check the full list of air intakes for V6 and V8 models on this page: http://www.carid.com/dodge-challenger-performance-air-intakes/

What are your thoughts about these intake, has anyone tried them on their Challenger?

All these air intakes are available at CARiD, so if you are interested - please let me know we can work on some group buys or other deals for forum members!
