Two idiot valets at Universal Theme Park decided to take a visitor's Hellcat for a joy ride, but were discouraged by the lack of power in valet mode.

The owner's dash camera caught the entire incident. These guys should be fired!

Idiots. Getting fired would be the least of their concerns if I discovered a valet ragging my car.

Valet mode “significantly reduces” the horsepower with the rev limiter set to 4,000 rpm, the automatic transmission locks out first gear and shortens the shifts for reduced performance. Manual shift mode in automatic models is disabled as are the steering wheel paddle shifters, traction control, the adjustable steering system and the suspension system are all locked into their “Street” setting, the Drive Mode feature is disabled, Launch Control is disabled and the Electronic Stability Control is locked to the full on position.

I just bought a Hellcat (pics soon) and can't imagine letting ANYONE drive it unless I was in the front seat next to them...valet mode or not. My 2 extra cents.

Look forward on seeing it if you haven't posted the pics yet.

Yea, who in their right mind would valet a hellcat? I just don't like valeting anything for that matter.

Shaggy,,,,,sorry to threadjack,,,,,,please check your PM. I need a little help with a sign in issue. Thanks.

BTW, I know how you feel about valet. I've actually tipped the valet guy NOT to park my car.
