New vs. Old Grill and Tail lights

    I, personally, thought that a change in the Challenger front grill and tail lights was long overdue.

    But did you ever wonder why the grill and tail lights of the 2008 Challenger (and later model years) were modeled after those of the 1970 and not the 1971 Challenger?

    I prefer the look of the '70 over the '71.

    And I really dislike the frowning look that began in '72. Which is part of why I bought a '73 Firebird Formula instead of a Challenger back-in-the-day.

    I've always liked the 70 look but owned a 73 Challenger for a few years.

    Funny thing is I really like the looks of the 2015, which is a throwback to 1971.
