Default Hi from Central California!

Hi all,

Just bought a used 2010 R/T yesterday after lusting after them for so long. Unfortunately I had to get rid of my beloved Z71 Avalanche after 7 years of ownership due to some significant mechanical issues I saw coming down the road (transmission being one of them). The Challenger is such a different vehicle but my sons are already in love with it (and so is my wife, thankfully). Looking forward to making some new friends here and as time and money permit making some changes to the car. Have a great Sunday.

Scott

Thanks guys. Loving the car more every day. Really get a kick out of the rice burners pulling up next to me and spinning their 4-bangers...the car looks threatening to them I guess. LOL.

It really is. I've only owned trucks so to have a car (and a bad-ass one at that!) is a pretty big change to my normal routine. Getting the boys in and out is a little difficult but they're still smallish so it's not a big deal. The worst part is that I found out too late that no one makes a bike rack for this car's body. I ride a road bike and it will fit in the trunk with both back seats down and a bit of effort but a roof rack would have been a nicer option...oh well I guess you can't have everything.

Yaaaaaaaa... and that might be a good thing. Wrong car for a 'roof rack' Cheap mommyvans can be had for that !...
Think about it Scott...
Enjoy the ride.
