Yep a case of first in first serve. The idea is not to wait until the end of the year to import your car or you could miss out. Anyway 500 is a lot of Left hand drive imports so we probably don't use them all up any way. The other option people have is to convert to right hand drive but I chose to keep it original.

    Hello from Finland :)

We have shitty goverment too, luckily I did not have to rip off zenon's since some other had to change halogen but the law changed.. And did not need to instal automatic height control to head light since I have SRT and it has stiffer chassis.

Eniwei all DOT lights, glasses, safety belts and needs to have equivalency certificate which cost about 600euros ( quite same in dollars aprox atm )

I mean in the past some people have to ripp off safety belts, lights and windscreen just to make them E aproved.

Row, what kind of tax did you have to pay and what kind of changes had to do in your car to get it registered ?
    I had tax about 20k :D

    Hi dC.mx,

I had to pay about 7k in tax - the other costs were 2 - 3k in compliance costs to get the vehicle through Biosecurity and then for the transport department.

The only actual change I had to make to the car was the headlight adjustment which I have described earlier. You probably didn't need this because you drive on the right hand side like they do in America.

Your car must stand out in Finland - I would guess there are not too many Challengers on the road over there.
