2020 Dodge Daytona SRT Hellcat Widebody

    The new Daytona borrows only its name, but features Lucky buyers of the 2020 Dodge Charger Daytona Hellcat Widebody are now taking delivery of a very special car. The car commemorates the 50th anniversary of the most outrageous car it ever made, by creating the most powerful sedan in the world. Fifty years ago, Dodge commissioned Creative Industries to build 501 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona models to satisfy NASCAR rules. The 426 Hemi-equipped aerodynamically-styled car dominated at the race track and was the first to average a 200 mph.lap- a record that stood for 17 years!

    The 2020 Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition pays tribute to the iconic Charger Daytona that dazzled NASCAR fans with its aerodynamic nosecone and sky-high rear wing, before the radical design was regulated out of existence. Each car has a unique dash plate, numbered X of 501.

    The new Daytona borrows only its name, but features an awesome 717 hp. supercharged 6.2 liter engine, with 650 lb. ft. of torque, that makes it one of the fastest four-doors in the world, boasting a quarter-mile time of 10.9 seconds, 0-60 mph under 3 seconds and a top speed of 198 mph. (Note- Dodge obtained a 10 hp. increase, over the standard Hellcat engine through software changes). Dodge is offering only 501 examples, matching the number of Daytonas that were built in 1969. A well-equipped Daytona costs a hefty $95,000 (without market adjustments).

    The sedan is available in four colors: B5 Blue, Pitch Black, Triple Nickel and White Knuckle. The black, nickel and blue sedans will get white “Daytona” decals on the rear quarter panels and a white spoiler, matching the white Hellcat badges on the front fenders. White cars will get blue “Daytona” decals and spoiler, and Hellcat badges in a bright finish. All-season 305/30-20 All-season Pirelli tires will be mounted on twenty-inch Warp Speed wheels, finished in satin carbon. Brembo brakes (6-piston on front and 4-piston on rear), with two-piece rotors, supply the stopping power.

    Inside, heated and cooled 12-way adjustable performance seats are trimmed in Nappa leather and Alcantara, with blue cross-stitching joining seatbacks embroidered with the word "Daytona." The flat-bottomed, suede-wrapped steering wheel with silver stitching and "velour-bound" floor mats will only come in this model, the festival of special appointments also including the dynamica suede headliner, carbon fiber instrument panel and bezels, light black chrome trim pieces, and blue stitching on the dash, shifter, center console armrest, and door panels.
