Hey guys n gals just traded my white R/T Classic 5.7 for a new black 392 Scat Pack Shaker. Never owned black but this car looks amazing so I pulled the trigger! Now ...I normally use fusso wax and they make one for dark colored cars but before I go that route would like to hear from black car owners what you use to keep it looking showroom new. Btw I priced a ceramic job from Screenshot_20190902-222503_Messages.jpg a guy with good rep in town but $1600 for a year guarantee...not so sure about that....what say ye?

Nice car, enjoy it. Man, everyone seems to be picking up these new Scat Packs.
A buddy of mine had his black Hellcat ceramic coated for about $2,000 and it came out very nice. Only kept it a year but no surface scratches on it. He had another new black SUV done by someone else for a little over $1000 and it turned out badly. In a month or so, swirl marks and very minor scratches started appearing. Lesson learned was it's all in the prep work BEFORE putting the coating on. You need a guy that knows what he's doing.
