*Note - There wasn't a section for the GT trim so I'm posting it here since it has a 3.6L in it.

I've had my Challenger for about a year now, and I love it. But I think I wanna do some relatively light modifications to it. The ideas are listed below, feel free to chime in.

Exhaust System: I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust. So I have to decide between Cat-back and axel-back. I think most people go for cat-back because it provides more attributes (relatively small as they are). In my research I've read that even though the cat-back is more popular, the axel-back is still a route one can take if the stock exhaust system is open enough already. What do you think is the better route to go?

Tuning: I only have a very basic understanding of tuning, and from what I've been reading a tune is good, even if the car is stock. Do you have any suggestions on what brands are good as well as reliable?

check these guys out https://solo-performance.com/ for the exhaust , they have a 3.6L system that sounds pretty dam good. they have videos posted of the different systems on all engine options.

as far as tuning, https://www.diablosport.com/ deals the most with Mopar. they have several options for tuners and you can just install the canned tunes that come with it for the different levels of octane gas you run.

I my self even though I have an RT with the 5.7L run the 91oct tune in my car and it runs great. I also have the solo system for exhaust

If you have the extra money, I hear the superchargers will really lite the 3.6 up.

A lot of people swap out the stock mufflers and remove the resonators. That’s what I did. Also added quad tips. I’m pretty happy with it. I bought 2 of these for about $32 each from Summit Racing.

    Interesting article:
    https://www.torquenews.com/106/2020-dodge-charger-why-there-no-all-wheel-drive-v8

    "Why No Charger V8 AWD
Prior to 2015, Dodge offered the Charger R/T with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and optional all-wheel-drive. It was a popular package with those folks who bought them, many of whom lived in areas with heavy winter snowfall. The AWD Charger R/T allowed these Dodge drivers to enjoy their Hemi-powered sport sedan all year long, but when the current models were introduced for the 2015 model year, the AWD R/T was gone from the consumer market"

My wife drives a 2016 Charger AWD with a Pentastar engine. Loves it.

While it's quite obvious that Mopar has an AWD system capable of handling V8 power, my guess is two things going against an AWD V8 powered Charger or Challenger are:
    1. Cost of the AWD system
    2. No more burnouts

While it's not very often I disagree with Katshot,

if they can sell ScatPacks and Hellcats, Cost is not an issue.
and as far as #2, NO MORE Burnouts, I am sure some ingenious Mopar Fan would figure out a button for that. :)

If they would have offered an AWD SRT M6 Challenger, I would have bought it.

The one thing I hated about my Son's FBI Charger,
besides it being an Automatic, it WOULD NOT Spin on dry pavement.
