This is a for on me. Went out to check fluids on my car this morning, and look what I found just lying on the passenger side, lower engine bay. How it got there without creating all kinds of damage is beyond me. So, as to my original question. What now? Can it be fit back in? does it need to be replaced? Considering i have no idea how long its been like that. Is it damaging to the engine to drive with it like this? Obviously it is supposed to be there for a reason. Thanks in advance. I would have it towed in. Don't drive it.

Its a part of a harmonic balancer, I had never known that they would come apart like that. Like to know what was done to fix the problem.
