Hello; Does anyone have a link to a good VIN decoder? Is there a way to access the original build sheets similar to the Marti report you can get for Fords? Thanks Mark
i know when i bought my 2009 Rt in 2011, I could not get a window sticker price list . but I could still get a printed out build sheet. not sure if I can do it now.
I bought my '15 RT new in Aug 2016. In 2016 I emailed [email protected] and got an email response which listed the build information. The email is three pages listing about 150 line items with their codes. The email also gave the VIN, in service date, paint code, etc. In 2018 I emailed [email protected] asking about production data for my VIN and received an email reply listing my VIN, the major options and how many exactly like mine were built in 2015. It took a while to get the replies but they did come through. If you try, tell us what happened.
From what I found they didn't keep records for the pre 2014 models. I got no response for my 2010 a few years ago. But please let us know if they give you any info.
yeah, i would assume that they wont be able to get that info to you.... but let us know if you get a response
I went onto FCA and sent a request for the recall list and also my build sheet info. I received this email back with a PDF copy of the build info; “Thank you for contacting FCA Canada Customer Care. I have made all of the advised ownership changes in FCA’s systems, I appreciate you notifying us. Build sheets are available by visiting https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/equipment-listing . Once on this page you will then need to enter in your VIN in the space provided. I have included a copy of your 2010 Dodge Challenger’s build sheet with this email. I also note that Recall Campaigns R37 (Driver Airbag Inflator) and S43 (Passenger Airbag Inflator) are outstanding on your vehicle. Please contact your dealer to arrange completion of these services, at no charge to you. You may also check the status of any recall online, anytime at recalls.mopar.ca If you should require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at 1-800-465-2001.” The PDF was 6 pages listing what was included on my 2010 RT Mark Edit; And they sent me a 3 month free Sirius subscription....
