I have the Cooper Zeon RS3-G1 ultra high performance all-season tires and they do not flat spot.

    thanks for the help guys!

One more question... if you get the used wheels and order new tires, did you guys just take the wheels into whatever shop and have the tires but on that way?

The factory tires I have now suck, so I'm thinking I'll just get those pulled off and get the winter tires on, then come spring get new tires on my old wheels.

Going to get some winter tires in the lower diameter then and see how that goes. It just snowed here already (thought I had at least another few weeks). Hopefully I won't get stuck again. Thanks again guys for your help, I really appreciate it!!

If you are putting your new tires on used wheels, you don't have to be that picky about which shop installs them.

However, if you were mounting tires on very expensive wheels, like the forged Alcoa wheels on my SRT, then I would look for a shop that mounts custom wheels to minimize the chance of any scratching. These shops, typically, have state-of-the-art tire changing machines like the RV1 Ranger Guardian.

You shouldn't have much trouble if you buy your tires at a local tire shop. Their equipment should handle wheels up to at least 22" if they are a tire shop that also sells aftermarket wheels. They'll put tires you buy from them on whatever wheels you provide. If there is a problem with the wheel they'll find out during balancing and tell you.
I bought a set of winter tires and aftermarket wheels from national tire dealer with stores here locally. They advertise free rotation for tires purchased there. They told me they would swap my winter and summer wheels/tires as part of that free service.
