I put my old muscle car away in November in my heated garage with a full tank of gas with stabilizer, new oil/filter, full detail, trickle charger and car cover. I like using a good car cover so nothing rubs against it. Come spring, I unwrap the car and it's ready to go.

I follow a slightly different procedure with my Challenger. In November I take off the 20" wheels/tires, put on my 18" winter wheels with winter tires and change the oil and filter at the same time. Then I drive it through winter and hit the laser wash as much as I can to keep the salt off. A spring detail makes it car cruise ready.
It would drive me crazy not being able to drive a cool fast car those five months out of the year. Not anymore.:)

I hate this time of year, 2 cars to put away so double work and cost.
My Jeep and wife’s RT Challenger.
Both get fresh oil, clean inside/out, fill up add stabilizer and I remove both batteries only because storage facility doesn’t have outlet.
Don’t have room at home to store plus this doesn’t temp me to drive on nice day lol.
I put tenders on both batteries at home.
I put bounce sheets in car, moth balls around each tire to keep critters away and steel wool in exhaust tail pipes.
My storage area in country but the owner keeps garage above 0 degrees Celsius (32F).
Been there 6 years never an issue with critters.
Lastly put car covers and start countdown until spring!

We had signs of snow yesterday, so before the salt hits the road I think I’ll get mine ready this weekend....:(
I’ll have to rely on all you Southerners to post pics of your cars and green grass!

Beautiful shot! Very nice property. When we get balls deep in the white stuff I’ll need some more of those pictures. Going down below freezing tonight here.
