I knew that Hellcats had Valet Mode, but I never knew that this feature is also on the SRT 392. It's very easy to set up. You just hit the SRT button and at the bottom hit the valet button. It will then ask you to enter a four digit code and hit okay. Once in valet mode, it locks out first gear in the A8 and limits rpms to 4,000. In a manual, you can still get first gear but, like the automatic, rpms are limited to 4,000. Also, it does not allow you to use Launch Control, turn off Traction Control, use the SRT pages to change suspension or transmission settings or spin the rear tires.
I use valet whenever I give it to a valet or take the car for scheduled service. It is very easy to use.
Did you see the video of the frustrated valet who tried to aggressively drive a Challenger Hellcat in Valet Mode? He was caught on the car's onboard camera. Hellcat Challenger + Valet - YouTube
