Here are two great resources for 1/4 mile and 0-60 mph times for classic and present-day Challengers and other Dodge cars. https://www.zeroto60times.com/vehicle-make/dodge-0-60-mph-times/ http://0-60.reviews/dodge-0-60/
Cool info but a bit confusing when I looked at both sites. My old 1974 'Cuda with the 360 4 bbl was definitely in that 6.9 second 0-60 time frame but the other site said 9.5 seconds. Obviously it wasn't a 360 they tested or they are just wrong. (they show Challenger but the 'Cuda was the same of course). I have trouble with the 0-60 in my '20 R/T as the tires spin no matter what I do. These stock Goodyears are fine tires but just don't hook up at launch. Too skinny?? It really doesn't matter that much to me as I rarely floor it from a stop but it's interesting since I have no issues with my other cars, not even the LS3 Corvette I used to own. Thanks for posting! Fun to look at and to compare the old with the new.
I trust this source more: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/article/holy-grail-hemi-1970-dodge-challenger-r-t And this isn't even a "BigBlock Killer 340" like the one they list:
