Ah, I think a whole industry of refurbishing/renewing older cars can spring up. Not in the "used car dealer get it barely off my lot before it grenades" sense. I mean entire remanufactories. No matter how much the violently insane on the two coasts try to force the vast majority of the country to kneel before Angela Merkel or whomever the puppet is this week, they are still not going to go for it, in a vehicular or any other sense.

Off topic - your nonexistent "remanufactories" have nothing to do with the JD Power's report.

In fact, if sane America gets to produce cars that people actually LIKE while the Special Areas keep producing people that get Offended at their own shadows, I think ONE part of America will start producing cars that beat the world, again, in quality and other areas.

Buick, Cadillac, and Lincoln can all rise again, too. The 1971 Buick Riviera was a high water mark for car style, beauty, grace, and size. Human nature hasn't changed. People still like the classic Buicks, Cadillacs, and Lincolns. When not being held at gunpoint by the government and its ever-more-stupid regulations, people like big cars, and they still get sold all over the planet.

The Buick name has not been utterly erased yet, as happened with Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Plymouth.

We, the sane, can rise again.
