Been a long time Mopar guy and just picked up this 22 Scat Pack on Wednesday after my 2018 Charger got totaled a few weeks ago. It is so good to be back in a car with a stick. Looking forward to all the great content here. And yes..... I took the bananas off before driving it home from the dealer
Welcome from Oregon Nice Car, sorry to hear about the Charger. Question?? Did they FIX the stupid "SkipShift" solenoid on the '22's? Forcing you to shift 1-4th at certain RPMS? Took me 2-weeks fore I "Googled" it and found a Cheap Fix Enjoy your NEW TOY !
To maximize your shifting pleasure and accuracy, many recommend the Barton shifter. (You can even use the stock handle or the stock knob, not sure which, but the shifter linkage is a huge improvement of the Vaguenator 5000 Shift Suggestor.) I have carefully and very slowly upshifted from 4th gear and been rewarded with 3rd instead of 5th gear. Shifting with the stock shifter was like trying to thread a needle by stirring a vat full of road asphalt with a stick and hope that the needle and thread both at the bottom of the vat of asphalt both found each other. The stock shifter may not blow your engine today, but the Barton never will.

As a completely side note, I believe "Castiglione" is properly pronounced "CAS-tee-lee-oh-nay." Another purchase many go for (if you don't already have them) is the wider SRT tires and wheels all around. They offer more grip and look nice, too. (not the 11" wide ones, you apes) Also, gets some Official Mopar Splash Guards (cheap to have the dealer install to avoid warranty evasion tactics) and your paint behind your wheels will thanks you. They are relatively unnoticed and really provide great value for the money.
