The frame rails are straight. There are no kinks or bent metal there. What are you seeing that I might have missed?

Edit: Minor damage is probably understating it, but it is something I can repair in my own garage.

I believe I have it finished except for the stripe on the bumper and maybe a few other minor items. One issue; is that I cannot seem to get the bumper to sit correctly into the brackets that are mounted to the front lower fenders. Not sure what the issue is - possibly the after market bumper and brackets. I will revisit that later. I need to work on getting licensed next and it needs an alignment. Overall, I am pleased with the results and am looking forward to daily driving it.

    Great job!

You should work for Graveyard Carz.

The car is now licensed. I had to use the services of a licensed rebuilder in Alabama in order to get the salvage title converted to a rebuilt title. Here's some things that need attention:
    1. Took it in for an alignment. The driver's side rear wheel camber needs adjustment. The shop could not budge the camber bolt due to the nut being seized on the bolt. I removed it, but in two pieces. It broke when I was trying to loosen the nut. I had to lower the rear suspension cradle down to get the bolt out. New cam bolt is on the way.
    2. Front brakes showing a fair amount of wear. I'm in the process of replacing the pads and rotors.
    3. It needs new tires.
    4. I'm hearing a noise like a rough wheel bearing - it may be the tires
    5. Parking brake does not hold.
    6. Sometime when cold, the transmission does not shift. I can shift it with the paddle shifters, though. Fluid was a little low. I topped it off and am hoping that corrected the issue. I did need to purchase a dip stick to check the fluid.
    7. Maybe replace some fluids - transmission (with filter) and rear end.

I'm very happy with how it turned out and am enjoying driving it. I plan to use it as my daily driver.

You now have a great driver car. What was your final cost for the salvage purchase and replacement parts?

Honestly, too much I think. For me it was a fun hobby sort of thing and I got to rescue a car. Auction price, fees and delivery was $6200. I have approximately another $3500 in parts and fees for getting it licensed. Close to $10,000 for a car with 82,000 miles and a rebuilt title. I doubt I could sell it for that.

No offence intended but did you consider investing all that time, money and talent into something more unique and/or collectable?

Since you did all of the labor, you are ahead financially.

According to Kelly Blue Book, a 2013 Challenger Redline in good condition, with 82,000 miles should sell between $13,622-16,163 ($14,893 average). Good job.

That's a good question. I really like the looks of the Rallye Redline with the black chrome wheels and red pinstripe, and the two-tone interior. I know it's not particularly collectible, but I like it. The fact that it is not desirable means my upfront price was lower. I might could find a similar SP, SRT or HC, but I would probably be spending 20-30k or more, up front for similar damage, and I cannot afford that. If I could afford one of those at a salvage auction, it would be damaged beyond my skills to repair.
