They still put them on vans like Sprinter, Transit, Promaster, GM...

I wish we still had the floor high beam button.

I haven't owned a vehicle with a bench seat in the front, in decades.

Cigarette lighters, CD players, cassette players, metal interiors on pickup trucks, flip out front vent windows, vents in the left and right kick space, crank windows.

A steering wheel that can be slid to the right.

I was watching an old “Twilight Zone” episode the other day and there was a shot of a ‘63 T-bird convertible, top down, that pulled up, and before the driver got out he slid the steering wheel to the right. I guess that was a feature designed to make it easier to get in and out. I forgot that some of the high-end cars of that time did that. I think Cadillac had something like that also.

And my 8-track only worked if you wedged a pack of matches under the tape cartridge. :Big Laugh:

I had a Capri and it had a squeeze bulb with a metal ring around it mounted where the old high beam switch was (floor), You could step on it and squirt the window washer. Also great for a single pass of the wipers.

Actually my Tazer has an easy exit feature. I raises the steering wheel, and runs the seat back. I don't use it, I would rather not wear those mechanisms out, besides no problem getting in or out.
