Out of all the colors Dodge has to offer on the new 2016 Challengers, what would you say looks the best and why?
I haven't seen the "Go Mango" for 2016 which is supposed to be a late production color, but from what I've heard it is back to the "copper" color it was originally. I'd have to see one in person, everybody and their dog wants the "Plum Crazy"
Plum Crazy is a cool color, but I think that I would eventually get tired of it. My choice would be Torred.
What??!! Are you guys crazy? Everyone knows all muscle cars should be black! Haven't you's ever seen Mad Max (1979)?!
Black is a great color but it is a pain to keep clean and shows any imperfections in the paint. It's not for everyone. In addition, one of MOPAR's signature traits was high impact colors.
Yea... I know, it does show that spider webbing more so than any other color. You just have to keep up on it with a Flex buffer. Not to mention you can literally fry an egg on the hood in July! For me Coke red or jet black are the two best colors for a car like this. Although, I still can't figure out what Dodge was thinking making this massive car in a 'Prince' purple...
For me its Tor Red as I have a 2105 in that color and it looks fantastic with the black interior and underhood black and red accents really set this car off.
I agonized over the color choice for 6 months because it was hard to see all the colors at the same time/dealership. I was strongly considering the Plum Crazy, Jazz Blue, B5 and Pitch Black. I agree that Plum can get old so I skipped that. Jazz looks amazing in decent sun but I felt it was too dark otherwise. Then I came across the reds. First I saw a Redline Hellcat under dealership fluorescent lighting and it was awesome, but after seeing a redline charger in the sun it is too magenta/pink. The Torred is a true red in all lights. End of story ;-)
Ironically, I see a lot of white in other year models, but have only seen ours in the 2015/2016 body style.
Jazz Blue or Go Mango would have to be the pick of the current colours for me but my heart says either Plum Crazy or Sublime Green - colours reverting back to the glorious '70's era
