2016 is the sub wires pre ran?

    2016 are the sub wires pre ran?

    I have a 2016 R/T plus shaker with the 8.4 nav unit. It came with 6 Alpine speakers. Can anyone confirm if the sub wire is pre ran to the trunk? I'm considering buying an OEM sub for it.

    If you have the 6 speaker system its not going to be pre-ran. You have to go the aftermarket route.

    Yup. No wires pre-ran that I've ever found after tearing apart most of the audio system in our 2016. Mostly because the factory 6 channel amp doesn't have the signal wires leaving it for adding a sub.

    If you plan on tapping into any wires though, I don't recommend using the rear speakers like most do. The door speakers have much lower signal going to them than the rears.
