Can't believe anybody would buy a Hellcat (especially the Redeye) WITHOUT the widebody package. Total head-scratcher there.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of the wide bodies. I’d rather they tucked the bigger wheels underneath.

Like the looks or not, in my mind it's just simply a case of WAY too much power for the available traction. Hell, it's hard enough getting 700+ horsepower to the pavement with 305's. With 275's it's just ridiculous. And on a Redeye?? Ludicrous. I haven't run one yet but I wouldn't be surprised if I could dog a skinny-tired Hellcat on the street. And I'm damn sure I can out handle and out stop one.

Possibly, all depends on driving skills.

    The lowly SXT is vindicated.

More than a third of 2020 Challengers produced were SXTs.

That's because it's their volume model. They have to produce a lot of them so they can afford to produce Hellcats etc.

Not a fan of the widebody. Accessory fender flare attachments look "ghetto" IMO. I also don't like the front-end "tongue" spoiler. I can see where the younger crowd would like such accoutrements. I'm not a fan of the sunroof either. Standard body R/T all day long! :)

    Flares done properly. :favorites13:

Some take exception to a bolt-on fender flared car being identified / described as a widebody. Wish Chrysler had approached it differently.
