Slashgear.com has cited the following 8 muscle cars as being the best looking ever designed. Three Mopars made the list. Do you agree with the list? I would have cited the 2nd Gen. Charger instead of the 1st Gen.

    Dodge Challenger (3rd Gen.)
    Plymouth 'Cuda
    Dodge Charger (1st. Gen.)
    Ford Boss 302
    Pontiac Firebird (3rd Gen.)
    Chevrolet Camaro (1st Gen.)
    Ford Mustang (S197)
    Ford Torino

Not my favorite Firebird, liked the one in Smokey and the Bandit, better.

JHFC. I guess everyone's taste is different. I got some time, so I'll rant. :angry94: :Big Laugh:

Pontiac Firebird (3rd Gen.)? - Yuck. Where's David Hasselhoff? "Kit, come around the back and pick me up." "Yes, master"

Dodge Charger (1st. Gen.)? - A true classic, but, good looking? No. I'm not impressed by cars that are too square. A brick isn't a car design. I like curves. Maybe it's a guy thing. Cybertruck - ugliest vehicle on the road. Couldn't have made it any worse. But, if you really think the 1st gen Charger is that good looking, why not the Rambler Marlin?
    Marlin.jpg

Ford Torino? - Lead sled. Where's Starsky and Hutch? At least that one had a racing stripe on it to make it go faster. Or did they shoot in slo-mo and speed up the playback?

Boss 302 and Mustang S197? - Style wise, they're almost the same car. But, I'll agree they do look good. Ford did a solid with their retro-styled Mustang.

1st Gen Camaro - Also good. Pretty cars. Before they bloated them out in the '70s.

70-73 'Cuda and Challenger - Now, we're talking! My dream car as a kid. When they re-made them in the modern version I had to have one. That's my pick for #1!

71-72 Satellite/Road Runner - How could they have missed this car? That is one sharp body style. Whoever wrote the article isn't all that familiar with cars.

How about a Javelin or AMX? American Motors always gets the shaft whenever folks start talking about classic muscle.

And what about the 69 GTO or 442? GM A-bodies were sharp cars, too. Totally missed in the article.

Phew! Ok, that's enough rant for one day. Talk amongst yourselves... I'll give you a topic...

That’s more like it. All good choices.

30 years ago I had a ‘68 Chevelle convertible. Looks almost identical to the ‘69, very subtle differences.

I have recently seen a Youtube about the rarest of them all:
The mid-engine AMX prototype. The car that could have put AMC miles ahead of all the other American carmakers.

He mentioned the third-gen Challenger. This is the third generation.
