    Some guy near me bought a nice looking black Challenger SXT.

    What do you think was his first mod?

    He added an SRT badge to his rear spoiler! Who is he trying to fool? (Note- He has a custom SXT license plate).

    Everyone does that......

    Not so sure that is a custom plate tho......

    I've seen SXT's with Hellcat emblems! I'm sure they're worth a few 10ths! :Big Laugh:

    Are you sure he added the spoiler? My SXT came with that spoiler. The other SXTs at the dealer also had it.

    I thought the SXT didn't come with the spoiler but the SXT Plus did, but I could be wrong.

    all depends on what the dealers ordered, they can come with spoilers and some of them dont. just like in 2009, they the SE didnt come with a chrome gas cap, is was a regular pop open door body color. I had a 2009 in black. had a body color gas door, I replaced it with the chrome one and also put a rear spoiler on it cause it didnt have one. but most the SXT's now come with all that.

    So, what's the chance that he got a random plate from the DMV and it had his car model trim on it?

    I got a random one from MA when i had my IROC-Z that had 'NMZ' as the letters, and every one thought it was personalized too........it wasn't.

    And it wasn't car model...it is car trim level...Challenger is the model.

    Some day, he will be totally embarrassed, just like what happened to me, years ago.

    For my first used car, I wanted a GTO. My father said that I would probably kill myself in it and bought me a 1963 Plymouth Belvedere with a 225 slant six. This wasn't the car that I wanted, so I tried to "customize" it on a limited budget.

    I installed, a glass pack muffler, twin hood scoops, hood pins, racing stripes, "bucket seat" slip covers, mag-type wheel covers, racing stickers and.......383 Four Barrel badges on the hood scoops. Man I thought my car was impressive (see photo).

    Well, one day, I was stopped at a traffic light and a 1969 Charger R/T (440) pulled up along side of me. He checked out my mean machine and then listened to the exhaust. After that, he started laughing. He knew! I was then left in a cloud of tire smoke when the light turned green .

    After that hard lesson, I vowed never to be a poser again and started saving for my 1971 'Cuda.

    Some of us are very fortunate to have a SRT or a AAR Cuda covered up in the garage maybe his next car might be a SRT? it's OK to dream and best of all he does have a MoPaR........
