I've always used this product to remove water from the gas tank (condensation) in my older cars and I imagine I should still use it once in awhile for my new R/T. Any reason not to use this product in a newer ride? Yellow or Red bottle. The owner's manual states not to use cleaners per se but this stuff can't be too strong IMO. Heet bottles.jpg

Most fuels now contain alcohol, which absorbs water so unless you got a lot of water in your tank somehow chances are you don’t need the additive.

Katshot is correct. Today's fuels have ethanol alcohol so HEET is redundant.
The yellow bottle of HEET has methanol in it and is designed for carburated engines. It can work well in a window wash tank that is frozen.
The red bottle has isopropyl alchohol and is designed for use in fuel injected engines.
I seriously doubt you would do any harm to your engine if you used HEET.
I use Seafoam if anything but mainly to clean out carbon.
I hope this helps in your decision.
