Would any know at what point is the actual reading of fuel on the fuel gauge?

1.) Would it be in the 'Accessory' position or when the vehicle is started ?

So sounds like you are getting different readings.
It would only seem logical that it would display the (intended) correct reading while in the "ON" position and/or when it is Running. Wouldn't you think?

    * Very good, you get a cookie. Just posing a question to see how long it would take for someone to respond. The gauge is dampened, so you are correct that the vehicle "must be started" to get the 'actual' reading. Should have posted a poll.

Funny...I don't often come to this particular forum as it's typically rather quiet.
Just got an email listing, "Last week's most popular topics" and this one, although not "popular":D caught my eye.

*Thanks very much. I really meant no deception, rather seeking one with knowledge such as yourself. If I ever have a problem, I know who to ask.

also remember that the challenger tanks are split right and left, as the hump in the rear seat does this to it.
