I'm sure that's a nice unit, but for me since I'm not in the car repair business, I'm just a shade tree home mechanic, I bought the cheaper version:

Amazon.com: Autel MaxiAP AP200 OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth Wireless OBDII Auto Diagnostic Tool with Full System Diagnostic, 19 Reset Functions, AutoVIN, Check Engine Light Code Reader for iPhone Android White&Gray : Automotive

It works with a smart phone, and comes with directions to install one free software download for one make and model of car. After that, you have to pay a yearly subscription for any other makes of car. I needed it to diagnose and recalibrate some problems with my wife's Jaguar, and for that it worked quite well. I can't speak to how it might work on my Challenger, cuz I haven't needed to troubleshoot anything <knock-on-wood> and I don't want to pay for extra software unless I really need to.

I like the bidirectional features. Got to get the pin for my Jeep, to turn off TPMS system. Gotta get the pin for the Challenger for deeper development. Also want to do some mods on my pickup, like turn off the light show when I open the doors at night, I think I want police mode?

A repair business one is getting in the $2 to $4K range. I tackle almost every repair on my vehicles, I also own a few basic scanners that will only pull codes. I wanted to take it to the next level. I could not pull the pin code from my Jeep, but that may be a problem with that year? Anyways the dealer gave it to me for free. My yearly subscription would be $300, but I will not need it, unless I get a car newer than 2025 as I will be updated till next December.

Did my first adaptation today in my Jeep, I turned off the TPMS system, so I am already a couple of hundred ahead vs going to dealer. So $500 more to go.
