I am considering the, "Blacktop Package" with Black Noise painted wheels. I am wondering how well they hold up, in the snow belt, where road salt and chemicals are used on the roads. Are they easily chipped or scratched and do they get a white film from the salt?
I live in the snow belt and drive my Challenger year round. Face it, they will show the white film corrosion probably in winter #2. My advice is to find a cheap set of wheels for winter and put a set of winter tires on them. Keep the Blacktop wheels for good weather. If not, just accept the fact that you'll need to sand and repaint them at some point.
