Body rot

    I own a 2013 Challenger R/T, in front of right rear wheel, I do have body rot!!!! Needless to say, I am bummed out!! Any body else have same issue??

    you got a pic of what your telling us? you living in Massachusetts may have something to it I assume they salt the roads up there.

    That's the infamous rocker panel problem. It has been around for years and is most prevalent in daily driver cars located in states with severe winters. Apparently water is getting inside the rear fender in front of the wheel well. There is foam insulation inside this area, behind the plastic rocker panel. The foam is getting wet and it's acting like a sponge causing a rust issue.

    well I guess me living ion the south, we really don't have to worry about the winters you guys get up there, even though we did get some snow this year and about 2 weeks of 20 degree temps for a while.
