Hello all I'm new here thought I would join as I'm in the market for a Challenger and found one I like but had a few questions, so I'm prepared. So, the car in question is a 2021 Challenger GT AWD and I noticed the radio has performance pages. Are these working and you can view info and or changes on these pages or are they just there standard but only work on hellcats? Also, this car has paddle shifters if that matters. Next question is I'm a alfaobd fan and use it in my ram all the time. Does this Challenger need a bypass and what bypass is needed.? Will alfa be able to makes all changes like high beams daytime running lights etc. or are somethings locked out due to the year of the car? Anything to look out for on this year any problems or issues?
I do not know about those things which you inquired. How hot your car gets depends on the level of wallet therapy you execute, thinking of performance. Do you want a Hellcat-whipper? I can help you with theory and principle, but my approach breaks new ground: higher revs and forced induction. The paddles are for shifting the car in manual mode, if you choose to do so. For this, you have to actually pay attention to the tachometer.

Not sure about alaphaobd, but I believe everything 2016+ is locked. To unlock the bypass gateway there may be a couple of options. The one I picked up years ago was on infotainment.com it's a plug that goes behind the radio. That being said I am not sure that your alaphaobd plug will work. You may need to send out your PCM to HP Tuners to be unlocked also . Hope this helps.
Hi there and congratulations, if you are buying this challenger from a mopar dealer they can turn your daytime running lights on for you, i have a snap - on that would also. do not know anything about a "alfa" .
Ok so went to look at this 2021 gt awd and its nice. So im at a dilemma now as while looking at this 2021 i saw he also had a 2023 last call gt awd. By the way its private sale. So 2021 has cloth interior, sun roof and 29,000KM 2023 last call gt awd has the leather interior sunroof and also a hellcat hood with dual cold ait intake system.Rest is stock. Also has lane assist memory seats and the nice f8 green color. 31,000km Now this 2023 is $11k more. Is this 11k more worth it for the extra features and year? I really like both but im a feature junkie and the 23 has more features but if its not worth it then id go 21 whats yall options?
Yes it will need a bypass to use the Programmer. It is a easy install in the can bus junction box. There and two connectors that plug into empty ports, then you run a wire to the battery and ground. I am also using AlphOBD along with a OBDlink MX+ for my 17 Ram and 23 Challenger RT. Z Automotive sells the Double Bypass kit. Or you can get it from Amazon. Also the PCM is locked for major performance changes, but the AlphaOBD will work well on many changes in the body computer and a few others. Like disabling the fog lights off with high beams, etc.
