There's an excess of Dodge muscle cars on dealership lots, possibly due to high sticker prices and interest rates. Stellantis vehicles are struggling in sales compared to Toyota's cheaper and more reliable cars. Dodge dealerships may be experiencing a downturn as people opt for more affordable alternatives with less mark-ups. Racer X, your favorite Mopar expert, talks about this inventory issue.
I am a Mopar guy through and through and I have owned many new Mopar's and used Mopar's and that's my entire life. I hate to say this , But this serves them right with all there ungodly mark ups. Maybe we can get a deal on one ?
Don't fool yourself. Not only are they selling, but they're selling at stupid prices. Here are a few recent examples...
The limited edition top models are selling for stupid prices, but the normal SXTs, R/Ts and Scat Packs are sitting unsold on dealer lots.
probably one reason why i still have my 2009 RT. Even though I have done a lot to it, I have had offers to sell but not in the past. recently I kinda put mine up for sale just because I would like to get the newer model style, scat pac rt widebody. I have seen used ones around 35-40k which would be doable if I can sell mine for 35K( I have it insured through hagerty for 40K). I have had a few people interested but they went out and bought a new one, thing is, if I sell it fine i'll find one, but if I dont no biggie, at least mine is paid for.
