The Spring 2025 issue of Motor Trend compared the Charger Daytona Scat Pack Stage 2 to the Mustang Dark Horse.

First, here was the tale of the tape:

    Charger- 670 hp., 627 lb./ft., 3.2 sec. 0-60 mph, 1/4 mile 11.5 [email protected] mph, $85,965
    Mustang- 500 hp., 418 lb./ft., 0-60 mph. 3.7 sec., 1/4 mile 12.0 [email protected] mph, $80,950

Next, the pros and cons of each car:

    Charger

    Pros
    Looks cool.
    Goes "like stink."
    Easy to live with.

    Cons
    Charges too slow.
    Weighs 5.916 lbs.
    Much pricier than the competition.

    Mustang

    Pros
As great on the street as it is on the track.
    Sounds fantastic.
    Clever driver toys.

    Cons
    Cramped interior.
    Not as ritzy.
    Small fuel tank.

Finally, some comments about the Charger:

"Muscle cars are more than just the go. To that end, the Dodge looks and sounds the part."

"The Fratzonic system blends the sounds of vintage Mopar muscle to give the package a menacing thrum of its own, barking at startup, rumbling at idle, and screaming at wide-open throttle."

"The battery pack accounts for 1,356 lbs. of its total 5,916 lb. weight."

"The Dodge posted a respectable 104-ft. stop from 60 mph., while the Ford recorded an insane 85-ft. stop."

"On the figure-eight course, the Dodge posted a respectable 24.1.7 sec. @0.84 g, while the Ford posted 23.7 sec. @0.86 g."

"As for burnouts, the Charger can't do one."

    Conclusion

"Despite the state of the muscle car, the new Charger proves an EV can certainty be one. For now, however, the best one remains powered by a good-old fashioned V-8."

They look a lot the same in body style, but the Mustang wins that category. Has more shape to it, like our Challengers.

In a heartbeat, but I am over spending money on foolish things at this point in my life. Challenger was the last foolish impractical thing I bought. ;)

Mustang's IMO are not for bigger men . I drove in one many years back, myself and a close friend we were both about 240lbs. then and are elbows were kinda touching. They do look nice though...

I agree, the Challenger has big seats, if you think the stang is small, try a full size transit, I can't even take my jacket off sitting in the seat, and I am 5'9", 155 lbs.
