The cheapest gas in New Jersey is $2.37/gallon for regular. It used to be much cheaper until the state increased the sales tax. New Jersey loves its taxes!
In the late 1960s, gasoline, in NJ, was $.35/gallon and the highest octane premium gas, Sunoco 260, was $.44/gallon.
