    It is interesting to see how much technology and advertising has progressed since the 1950s and early 1960s.

    The following link contains many commercials from those eras. Three ads were particularly funny. The first one brags about Chevrolet's "Quadra-Poise" ride that prevents the car from nose-diving, like other cars, upon braking.

    The second ad features the luxury AM Ambassador (at the 4:00 minute mark) riding on a red carpet.

    The third ad, features the 1968 Pontiac GTO (at the 7:08 minute mark). A large team of frustrated automotive technicians take turn bashing the car's Endura (rubberized foam) bumper nose.
