    Decision not to pin must have been made based on inaccurate engineering science information. The 5.7 isn't keyed either (mine is, only because of the Magnuson installation requiring it). According to Steve White, doing a key kit install will invalidate the warranty. Seems the wreak havoc point is 6300 rpm. What a mess.

    In my opinion, putting the pin in alone can't invalidate the warranty unless you’re pinning it because you’ve added after market horsepower (i.e., swapping pulleys). I’m not interested in more HP, just making it better!

    I did the crank pin with no issue. I used a carbide drill to do it. The bit that comes with it really didn’t cut well. Speedy’s video covers the steps very well. I used a new Mopar crank bolt that matched stock and torqued to spec.
