    Hey everyone,

I have a 2009 Dodge Challenger SE with the 3.5L V6. For all my oil changes I have been using the smaller WIX 57060 (with oil cooler) oil filter. Do any of you know if these engines come stock with an engine oil cooler? I tried looking under the hood, but I couldn't really tell. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Here's a link to the filter I've been using...

I have an 08 Charger with the same engine and it does not have an oil cooler. I believe the stock oil cooler arrived in 2011 with the 3.6 engine.

I like the performance potential of the 3.5L engine much more than the giant-mono-exhaust-port 3.6L.
The 3.5L had bucket-and-shim valves, did it not, in addition to individual exhaust ports?

It was regrettably saddled with an ancient-tech 5-speed automatic with no manual option.

The rev potential and performance potential of the actual engine seemed superior, based on their designs, but, alas.

Dodge was on a suicidal bent in 2011, already, evidently.
