Emblem Decals has a wide selection of MOPAR-approved engine decals. They come in many Mopar colors and the vinyl used is 3M, Oracal or Avery depending on the color choice. They are all outdoor auto grade vinyl and meant to last for years. It's a great way to customize your engine bay for a minimal cost ($20-$30). Here are four examples. The last one is my 2009 SRT. Speaking of decals, has anyone else noticed that drag racing sponsors seem to have largely abandoned contingency decal rewards, as I rarely see a car plastered with Hooker, Moroso, Firestone, Accel, Moon, etc. etc. etc. decals any longer? I used to like that while simultaneously not liking its effects on the overall paint scheme. They may do it in NASCAR where they race cars you can't get with engines you can't get either, I don't know.
That's usually where I put my decals, under the hood, Fox, ARP, JLT to name a few. But my Challenger was virgin, just the way they like it for resale.
cant bring myself to put stickers on the car or in the engine compartment, although my smog sticker and a/c sticker that come on every challenger and are locked either in the underside of the hood or on the colored crossmember just behind the black plastic radiator covers. So mine was peeling so I took it off, Im pretty.sure they have to be there. So I ordered replacements, Mopar.com, got them now am having a tuff time figuring out where to put them..... or if I should.
My decals are covering the chipped factory paint on the fuel rail covers. In addition, the decals are color-matched to the paint (Hemi-orange) of my car.
I would not complain if the next supercar they produce has some more distance between firewall and radiator core, like the 1971 B-bodies. There was so much room to play with.
