I just recently became the owner of a 2016 SXT and I want to do something about the wimpy exhaust. I think I know what is out there in cat back and axle back systems but I dont think I am ready to drop the $. I have watched videos on You Tube and I think I might want to replace the mid mufflers with Flowmaster Super 10's and leave the factory resinators in place. I have not seen a video of this exact setup as most everyone cuts off the resinators. Anybody here with this setup? I am not looking for super loud as the car will be a daily drive, in town and highway, for both me and my wife. Thoughts?
With the size of the Resonators, you may just try a Muffler Delete Kit, if you truly want to keep the Resonators. So got pics of your Challenger? What year is it? Your post in Windshield / foam strip You said it was a 2015?
This is what you want, it sounds and performs awesome.... https://www.jegs.com/i/Borla/157/140650/10002/-1?ymm=4294829555+4294829634+4294829086 I tried to find a resonator delete for this kit but I was unable to find it as the pipes are 2.25 inch, but you may be able to find a shop to delete them for you with some custom pipes.
Does someone actually sell a muffler delete kit for my 2015? I will get a pic of it and post it in the new members forum soon.
Check the size of pipe, it is just a tube to replace there the Muffler would be, like the old Cat "TEST" pipes we used to use back in the '80's. Check out: https://www.blastinbob.com/category_s/90.htm Nick@GotExhaust on this Board also could probably help you.
If you haven't done it yet, check out You Tube and search 2015 Challenger SXT Exhaust, there's a few videos there. Here's one for Flowmaster Super 10's with resonator delete.
