Stock exhaust is too quite on my 2011 R/T, looking for a deeper more aggressive sound but not too loud to be annoying to non car lovers, I was looking at street pro exhaust from Pypes. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I use a Tazer, I can set my Scat engine to full time tack mode, and it makes it rumble good enough for me. Depends on how loud you want it to be?

I am pretty sure the Tazer gives you a lot of SRT features, even on a car with none. RT Life had quite a few features added to his Charger with the Tazer.

If he has active exhaust, he can remove the drives, tie them up, and wire the valves open. But what do I know about his car, I am still learning about mine.

understand Sexy, not all of us drive newer challengers, "like some.".!some of us in here have older challengers that are approaching being in antique world W/my 60,70's machines.. My challenger does not even have remote start on it, it was not available until 2009 ... lol :) And back to your original question , i think he needs somewhere to be able to vent out to, but nothing he says makes any blanking sense. And who knows maybe gaining a new state?

I must be a really old school, I’m use to taking off mufflers and attaching cherry bombs with tail pipes out the side in front of rear wheels, thanks for the input anyway, it tells me I have a lot to learn about newer muscle cars. :)

i think if you changed your exhaust you would not be happy as far interior drone and vibration. that's my opinion.

In our modern day (2008 and beyond) Challengers even long tube headers don't result in the sound they did in much earlier V8's (not sound detectable on mine and either is the Magnuson Supercharger). The factory active exhaust system Sexy gave us a link to sounds desirable to me but wasn't available on earlier model years (though I'm leaning toward installing electronically activated cutouts to open the exhaust system on demand).

Depending where in the system they're placed fluctuates the level of sound impact. The aftermarket exhaust systems I'm aware of are also generally quiet until they're throttled hard. The Corsa on mine does have quite a bark to it when throttled hard which I can recommend (and one of a very few that didn't drone at time of install in 2010). Some Challenger owners have managed to get a louder old school general rumble but I don't remember their specifics. Enough research should get you there.

I don't even like driving mine with the windows up in street mode. Lots of drone.
