Do you still get a nice spring and fall up there? When we were living up in Delaware and Pennsylvania the last several years we've been noticing we haven't been getting a nice, long spring and fall. More like Mother Nature just flips a switch and you go from summer to winter and vice versa.
@Katshot - You’re so right. No intro to fall. I’ll be traveling to PA next week..Just for the Fall Foliage. Seems this yr. is starting to look a lot better than the last few yrs. we will see.
Yeah, the next week or two will be the weeks to enjoy for the northern states. Trees here in northeast Ohio are just starting to change. I'm planning a few afternoon road trips to enjoy 'em.
I totally agree, it seems like one week the AC is on and the next the furnace has to be on. Very short spring and fall anymore. The maple’s seem to be extremely red this year for some reason.
Sounds like you hade a good growing season, then cool nights and sunny days coming into fall. Pretty much the ideal situation for brilliant colors. We seldom had that.
